Cautions for mechanical seal application of centrifugal heat conducting oil pump

Hot oil pump is single-stage, single-suction cantilever structure, with bearing seat, connecting and receiving the hydraulic components of the pump, liquid is discharged from the outlet pipe components, the impeller of the pump is semi-open mechanical seal impeller, and mixing blade is installed at the inlet extension of impeller blade. The main feature of the pump is that the pump shaft at the lower part of the liquid has satisfied stiffness. There is no bearing between impeller and pump shell, and no shaft seal is used, which can convey medium rich in large depth solid particles. The length of the pump under the liquid is between 800 and 2000, and the suction pipe can be fitted if required. Shaft seals are operated by inserting a submerged pump into the liquid without shaft seals. The special mechanical seals for transmission are installed on the motor support and support base by a vertical motor, and are connected with the pump by a coupling.

1. The greater the tension spring of mechanical seal of centrifugal heat conducting oil pump, the better the sealing effect. Otherwise, excessive shrinkage of mechanical seal of tensioning spring hot oil pump can cause sharp wear of conflict pair and instantaneous burning loss; excessive tightening makes tensioning spring lose the ability to adjust the end face of the ring, resulting in seal failure.

2. The tighter the seal diagrams of the moving ring of the mechanical seal of the centrifugal heat conducting oil pump, the better. The original moving ring seal ring is too tight and harmful. One is to aggravate the wear and tear between the sealing ring and the sleeve, and leak prematurely; the other is to increase the resistance of the moving ring to adjust and move axially, so that it can not be adjusted when the working condition changes frequently; the third is that the tension spring is too tired and easily damaged; and the fourth is to make the sealing ring of the moving ring deform and affect the sealing effect.

3. The tighter the sealing ring of the static ring of the heat conducting oil pump, the better. Static ring seals are basically in a stop state, relatively tight sealing effect will be better, but too tight is harmful. Firstly, the static ring seal is deformed excessively, which affects the sealing effect; secondly, the raw material of the static ring is graphite, which is usually brittle and easily fragmented by excessive force; thirdly, it is difficult to install and disassemble, and it is easy to damage the static ring.

4. The tighter the lock mother of the impeller of the heat-conducting oil pump, the better. Leakage between sleeve and shaft is common in mechanical seal leakage. Usually, the leakage between axles is that the impeller lock mother is not locked. There are many factors that cause the leakage between axles, such as the failure of axle cushion, offset, impurities between axles, large form and position errors in the joint of axle and sleeve, damage of contact surface, void between parts of axle, too long thread of axle head and so on, which will lead to the leakage between axles. Excessive locking of the lock mother will only cause premature failure of the shaft cushion. On the contrary, proper locking mother will keep the shaft cushion tightening elasticity. In the work, the lock mother will actively make the lock, so that the shaft has been in a good sealing condition.

5. Heat conductive oil pump is better than the old one. Relatively speaking, the effect of using new mechanical seals is better than that of old ones, but when the quality or raw materials of new mechanical seals are not selected at the right time, the error of cooperation scale will greatly affect the sealing effect; in polymer and permeable media, static rings should not be replaced if there is no excessive wear and tear. Because the static ring is stopped for a long time in the static ring seat, the polymer and impurity deposits are integrated, which has a good sealing effect.

6. It is better to disassemble and repair heat conductive oil pumps than not to disassemble them. Once the mechanical seal leaks, it is eager to disassemble and repair. Originally, sometimes the seal is not damaged. Leakage can be eliminated by adjusting the working condition or properly adjusting the seal. In this way, it can not only prevent spoilage, but also verify its own fault judgment ability, and improve the maintenance quality through stacking repair experience.
