1) It is necessary to select suitable types of mechanical seals for matching data according to the working conditions of marine mechanical seals and main engine, so as to ensure the normal working and service life of seals.

4) When mechanical seal is installed, it is necessary to clean the shaft (bush), sealing chamber, sealing end cover and mechanical seal itself, and to avoid any impurities entering the sealing part.

5) When the temperature of the transport medium is too high or too low, or is rich in impurity particles, flammable, explosive and toxic, it is necessary to refer to the relevant specifications of mechanical seals and adopt the corresponding methods of blocking, scouring, cooling and over-consideration.

6) When mechanical seals are installed, proper smoothness should be provided. According to the product device instructions, the device dimensions of mechanical seals should be ensured.

7) It is necessary for the equipment to be filled with medium before working, so as to avoid dry conflict and seal failure.

8) The mechanical seal of single tension spring transmission in the sample; the rotation direction of tension spring should be selected reasonably; usually from the stop ring end; when the axis turns clockwise; the right tension spring should be selected; otherwise, the left tension spring should be selected.
