Rubber sealing rings are the most commonly used sealing elements in seals. The classification of rubber sealing rings is usually based on their main materials, characteristics and movement forms.

1. According to material classification, different sealing rings are divided by different materials. Usually, NBR sealing rings are used. Other common materials such as silicone rubber seals, fluororubber seals, etc.

2. Classification according to sealing ring characteristics
This classification mainly combines the working conditions and materials of sealing rings. It can be divided into high temperature resistant seal ring, low temperature resistant seal ring, high pressure resistant seal ring, wear resistant seal ring, corrosion resistant seal ring and so on.

3. Classify them according to their forms of motion

Usually, there are two kinds of motion forms: dynamic seal and static seal. Static seal means to seal on two static surfaces. The most widely used O-ring in seal ring is mainly used in static seal, followed by gasket seal. In dynamic seal, according to whether the seal ring contacts with its relative moving parts, it can be divided into contact seal and non-contact seal. Among them, the rubber sealing ring is a contact sealing mode. Usually in the dynamic seal, the common forms of rubber sealing rings are rotary shaft lip seal rings and reciprocating motion seal rings.
